Exodus: The God Who Saves
Exodus is the great story of God’s redemption in the Old Testament. God delivers his people from slavery in Egypt in order to enjoy life in his presence in the promised land. Our focus in this series on considering the question: who is this God who saves? We want to see our God more clearly so that we can learn to live in light of who is he and all that he has done for us in Christ.
We would love for you to join us on Sundays at 10AM at Viewmont Elementary in Hickory as we gather to worship God and open Exodus together.

Building on 1 Corinthians 13:13, we believe that a disciple is a follower of Jesus who is growing in faith, hope, and love.
We’d love for you to join us on Sunday mornings at 10AM at Viewmont Elementary as we gather for worship and seek to grow in faith, hope, and love as we follow Jesus.

Good books have a way of changing us. For example, after reading a novel that features strong friendships we realize that we ought to put more effort into our own friendships. Or, after reading a story that highlights the struggles and challenges of the poor we are moved to empathize more deeply with their plight. When read well, good books change the way live. If this is true of ordinary books, how much more so is this true of the Bible?
